How to Share Zen and Build a Movement

Special guests are our very own General Manager, Rachel McVinish, and Zen Life Community Creator, Keely Pedler.

Zen Project 8 simplifies weight management and teaches habits for leading a healthy lifestyle. Over the course of 8 weeks, you’re guided through 3 easy-to-follow phases with premium ZEN products, expert coaching, and ongoing support from an active community of like-minded participants.

In the webinar, Mark talks how you can take your success, build a movement and build a culture. As you live this program, there are three things he asks you to do:

1.    Answer these questions: On a scale of 1 – 10, where are you with your health? And where do you want to be? What are the five things you want to focus on regarding your health?

2.    Remember these 3 words – Conversation, Experience, Authenticity. You first have to live the program. If you live it, the conversation becomes easier and you can share it. You start sharing it with experience, and then as you have that experience, it drives your authenticity.

3.    Duplicate it. Clarify that number from the first question, focus on those three words, and then you need to duplicate.

Using these points, your goal is to get 5 extra people – a task that really shouldn’t be that problematic because people do actually want to know how to cook healthily and to be fit and healthy.

Rachel’s main message in the webinar is to live the Zen lifestyle as it’s a great program that is adaptable to anyone’s lifestyle and really works. What’s not to love? She says that in Australia, people are working across teams – the program is bringing people together, which shows the power of the community. And we have to embrace not only our successes but our failures. Through failure, you can still push forward towards further success.

This program is like no other. It’s so adaptable to people’s lifestyles and you can live it long-term. For instance, the Zen shakes and recipes can be enjoyed by the whole family so you and your children can have healthy meals and snacks.

Also on the webinar is Zen Life Community Creator, Keely Pedler, a wonderful example for all of us, with over 500 members in her private Facebook group. Keely says that it takes some courage to create a community but she gives some great on-the-spot examples of how to approach potential customers.

After meeting Mark in Sydney, she was inspired and lived the program herself at the same time as looking after three young children. She started getting people on board by focusing on helping them eat better.

Keely’s wisdom included these 3 points about how you go from living it to sharing and building a culture:

1.    Know your niche. You can’t be everything for everyone. For instance, Keely is a mum with three kids so she recognises that she can relate to other mums like her who are on the run all the time.

2.    Share it with five people. You could start your own private Facebook group or put it into the Zen global Facebook page. Share it to get five stories. Keely gets people to join her community before they have even signed up, so they can get a feel for the content and see if they like it. Connect with someone and find out what their challenges are. Have a natural conversation and be sensitive to your person’s needs.

3.    Encourage people to try it, even if it’s just for the first two weeks so that they make an initial purchase. Talk to them about the meal plans with the Zen Bodi recipes and the Zen products.
